Welcome to the Fercho Friday Blog. I'm sharing another painting progression. This painting is largely successful because of the strong diagonal composition.
PICTURE 1: If you look through the progression photos, you will see that the painting starts off as a loose sketch with big bold strokes.
PICTURE 2: Between layers, I let the paint dry and go back in with a pen to redefine shapes.
PICTURE 3: I blow out the edges again with paint.
PICTURE 4: I chisel in those details with a fine brush.
